The six techniques included

Across the 90 minutes, the therapist uses:

Open-palm circular pressure - on the back and shoulders, in escalating layers. Prepares the muscles and activates circulation.
Rhythmic friction - on the large back and leg muscles. Warms the tissue and prepares it for deeper work.
Assisted muscle stretching - the therapist uses their own body weight to lengthen muscle groups. Immediate release of accumulated tension.
Pressure-point work - neck, shoulders, soles of the feet. Identifies blockages and releases them with sustained pressure of 30-90 seconds per point.
Drainage strokes - directed toward the heart, on legs, arms, abdomen. Stimulates the lymphatic system and clears accumulated tension.
Closing technique with open palms - similar to the first technique but gentler. Brings the body to a state of controlled calm before the session ends.

How the session feels

Bedouin Massage is neither passive-relaxing (like a classic Swedish massage) nor painful (like an intense sports massage). It is an active, layered experience in which the pressure and techniques shift every 10-15 minutes. Most clients tell us afterwards: "I felt things I have not felt in another massage."
